What You Will Learn:
As the Manager of Social Media, you will be responsible for executing the organic social media and content strategy for CeraVe. This role reports into the AVP of Brand Engagement and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and agencies to flawlessly execute our social media strategy, in line with shared brand goals. Our ideal candidate is a "social native" who understands the intersection of "edutainment" and clinical credibility. You will demonstrate expert knowledge of the current, ever-changing social landscape - specifically Instagram, YouTube - to grow CeraVe’s social presence. Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Help create innovative and engaging social strategies that assert CeraVe’s leadership against competitive skincare brands.
- Work closely with our dermatologists partners to create expert-ledcontent ,ensuringCeraVe remains the most trusted voice in the social skincare conversation.
- Manage creative agency partnersto developsocial media content, copy, and content roll outthatsupportthe brand’s marketing calendar to drivehighengagement/engagementrateon key social channels amonggen Z, Millennials, and the professional medical community.
- Work closely with Marketing team to create and maintain arobustcontent calendar for all social channels aligningwithkey productpillars.
- Work closely with the global teamto ensure local US social efforts align with global brand equity while leading the way in social innovation.
- Seamlessly execute social media brand campaignsand community-drivensweepstakes from start to finish.
- Responsible for all daily posting, monitoring andcommunity engagement across all CeraVe branded platforms.
- Analytics/Community Management:
- Own and lead social media reporting, including data-driven reports to identifyhero content types and white-space opportunities for future planning.
- Performactive social listening tomonitorbrand sentiment. Utilize tools likeTalkWalkertotrack rising trends and conversations to inform nimble, real-time content creation.
- Take a data-driven approach to inform and activate overall social strategy to increase awareness and engagement.
- Key liaison with Le Care for all community management needs day-to-day
- Maintain a deep understandingof LUSA dashboardsto report on KPIs during A&I and digital teammeetings, focusing on follower growth, engagement, and brand rank.
- UGC Testimonial Amplification:
- Supportbrand’soverall UGC strategy to helpshowcasethe efficacy and effectiveness of our products, through the lens of ourcommunity andprofessionals.
- Partner with our influencer agency on casting andcreatoragreements for social media campaigns.
- Content Development
- Partner with Marketing leads to brief the LDB content center on always-on and innovation photoshoots
- Coordinate with content center on photoshoot scheduling and asset deliverables
- Work with creative director on set to ensure content is following brand codes and guidelines
- Capture and edit lo-fi content at brand events and activations
- Distribute content to crossfunctionalpartners including media & marketing
- Deliver assets & copy to media team for paid media ads
Required Qualifications:
- At least 4-5 years of social media experience at abrand ordigital/social media agency or (with an emphasis on lifestyle, beauty and/or fashion brands).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Exceptional writing skills with a go-getter attitude to engage with consumers, influencers, and KOLs with the utmost positivity.
- Experience reporting and analyzing social media KPI’s with familiarity ofTalkWalker, Sprinklr, and/or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making.
- Ability to navigate complex team matrix.
- Professional communication skills to work closely with internal teams and agency partners.
- Extraordinary collaborative team spirit and clear communicator with internal teams (A&I,Digital,PR, Marketing, Global Team Counterparts, DMI, CDMO).
- Superior Project Management Skills - you constantly have innovative ideas for how to make a situation or plan more efficient and successful.
- Always signing up for newest social networks and discovering ways to engage in new channels and create timely, relevant content.
Salary Range: $98,400 -$140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
