We are pursuing a highly organized and motivated Program/Development adjunct to join our team in Poughkeepsie!



Job tasks:

»Maintain, update, and provide status reports from tracking systems for bequest/legacy gifts in process, prospective funds, and donor/fund advisor engagement strategies.

»Assist in administrative aspects of grant and scholarship processing under the direction of the Program Manager and VP Programs.

»Assist in the planning and logistics for grant and scholarship committee meetings, grant application workshops, and program related community meetings and events, including room booking, set-up, and logistics.

»Act as a point of contact for potential grantees and students, answer basic questions about eligibility and timelines, field technical inquiries about applications and provide user set-up/support.

»Prepare new fund welcome packets.

»Assist in the planning and logistics for Development committee meetings, professional advisor and legacy society events.

»Utilizes database system to generate planned gift and fund reports as requested.

»Maintain the Development team’s calendar of outreach and engagement activities

»Assists with donor related mailings and correspondence

»Assist in production of targeted communications to donors and professional advisors (print, electronic, and social media)

Requirements:

»At least one year of administrative practice in the Non-Profit Sector

» practice with grants or scholarship administration a plus!
