Position Overview :
We’re looking for a Back-End Engineer to build the core infrastructure that powers blockchain-based products across Inversion’s portfolio companies, layer-1 ecosystem, and local product suite. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product, Head of Engineering, and front-end engineers to create robust systems that connect legacy business processes with modern blockchain infrastructure. From wallets and payments to agent portals and credit systems, your work will make blockchain usable at scale.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building high-performance systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Build Core APIs : Design and implement back-end services to support mobile wallets, real-time payments, identity verification, and transaction history.

• Integrate Blockchain Infrastructure : Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to connect traditional app flows to stablecoin infrastructure, nodes, and custodial or non-custodial wallets in a secure and modular way.

• Support On/Off-Ramps : Collaborate on infrastructure that enables local payment rails to connect with stablecoins and cross-border remittances.

• Security and Reliability : Implement rigorous security best practices, including API authentication, data validation, smart contract risk mitigation, and observability tooling.

• Ensure Performance and Resilience : Build for scale, latency, and uptime across geographies, particularly in areas with inconsistent internet or older devices.

• Collaborate Across Product and Engineering: Partner with front-end engineers, Head of Product, and designers to understand user needs and prioritize features.

• Market Insights & Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring that Inversion’s product offerings are innovative, competitive, and aligned with the needs of both users and the blockchain ecosystem.

• KPIs & Performance Metrics : Define key product success metrics and ensure continuous tracking, reporting, and improvement.
  

Qualifications:

• 4-6+ years of experience in back-end development, ideally with exposure to blockchain infrastructure or fintech systems with proficiency in Go or Python

• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, wallet connections, and smart contract interactions.

• Strong attention to security, data integrity, and fault tolerance.

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and interoperability protocols.

• Experience working on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.

• Ability to think long-term and implement strategies that drive value both for equity holders and token stakeholders.

• High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and a willingness to embrace the unique challenges and opportunities presented by a rapidly evolving blockchain investment model.

• A passion for the intersection of blockchain technology and real-world business applications.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with stablecoin ecosystems, digital wallets, or fintech products.

• Familiarity with full-stack development concepts.

Compensation :
