Financial Paralegal
Our client is seeking an exceptionally bright and motivated Paralegal in their NYC office. This role offers dynamic experience within a collaborative and collegiate environment that encourages learning and growth and offers a competitive compensation package.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the drafting, review, and management of legal documents related to fund products, including offering memoranda, partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and industry practices.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
- Support the team in responding to investor inquiries and requests for information.
- Manage timelines and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 from an accredited university is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a paralegal in asset management or a law firm.
- Strong understanding of fund processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
