$4,000 sign-on bonus
Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
School year and six-week summer program.
Integrated and Self-contained classrooms, ages 3-5.
NYS Certification required in Special Education OR Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2.
Rate of pay will reflect education and practice.
Benefits include paid school holidays/recesses/snow days as well as medical and personal time. CDPHP Health, Delta Dental, Empire Vision and AFLAC insurance benefits available. Some responsibilities include:
»Special education teacher works collaboratively with general education teacher in an integrated classroom.
»Classroom teachers work collaboratively with speech, occupational and physical therapy providers to assure a cohesive educational program.
»Classrooms follow the standards for New York State Next Generation Learning Standards.
Newmeadow is a comprehensive ABA school which promotes, provides and reinforces the use of data driven teaching techniques for the instruction of all students.
