To meet its growth demands, T&M is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller with a sharp balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to assist the Controller and Chief Financial Officer build and maintain a scalable financial reporting process for both internal department-director level constituents, and external independent 3rd party auditors.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

· 8 to 10 years of accounting experience with a middle-market level entity, including significant leadership responsibilities.

· 6 to 8 years of NetSuite experience.

· Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

· Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with ERP-driven analytics.

· Provided accurate reporting with footed and cross-footed schedules.

· Built or maintained scalable financial reporting processes across all reporting cycles.

· History of providing cross-functional department-level support.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all GL accounting operations, including AP, AR, Prepaids amortization, Fixed Assets schedules, Unearned revenue schedules, Revenue Recognition w/ ASC606 compliance, and month, quarter, and year end close.

- Ensure timely and accurate sales tax filings and payments

- Liaise w/ external 3rd party auditors for quarterly review and year-end annual audit examinations.

- Communicate w/ Vendors, Clients, and Employees daily.

- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, include period-end accruals and management reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies

- Own and optimize NetSuite financial processes, system configurations, workflows, saved searches, reports, and integrations to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to support audit readiness and Sox404 regulatory compliance.

- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and reconciliations are completed accurately

- Partner with FP&A, operations, tax, and executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and strategic decision-making.

- Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements through deep flux analysis

- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team of 2-3, including setting goals, reviewing performance, and supporting career growth.

- Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and process automation initiatives related to NetSuite and adjacent finance tools.

Preferred Attributes

- IFRS experience is a plus

- Soft-closed financials within 3 to 5 business days.

- Hard-closed financial statements within 8 to 10 business days.

- Desire for CPA is a plus
