Ad Operations Manager - In App - Fast growing Programmatic Ad Tech - $150,000 - $190,000 plus benefits

Overview

We're partnering with a rapidly growing AdTech company that is transforming how publishers manage and optimize their monetization strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ad Operations professional with deep mobile app monetization expertise to join a highly technical and customer-focused team. You'll take ownership of publisher onboarding, drive revenue optimization initiatives, and work directly with some of the largest app publishers in the market.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys solving complex monetization challenges, and wants to work at the intersection of mobile advertising, programmatic technology, and publisher growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding of publishers onto mobile app monetization solutions and SDK integrations
• Partner directly with publisher clients to maximize revenue performance and long-term success
• Analyze monetization and performance data to identify optimization opportunities and revenue growth strategies
• Design and execute A/B tests across demand partners, configurations, and monetization strategies
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product development
• Troubleshoot technical implementation and monetization issues across mobile environments
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Support the integration and optimization of new demand sources and monetization partners
• Act as a trusted advisor to publisher partners, providing strategic recommendations and best practices

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Revenue Operations, or Publisher Monetization
• Strong experience working within Google Ad Manager (GAM)
• Extensive experience supporting mobile app publishers and in-app advertising environments
• Deep understanding of mobile ad serving, mediation platforms, SDK integrations, and programmatic advertising
• Strong knowledge of Prebid Mobile and mobile monetization technologies
• Experience working with privacy frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and TCF
• Strong understanding of OpenRTB protocols and programmatic ecosystem fundamentals
• Proven ability to work directly with publisher clients and manage complex technical relationships

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and uncover optimization opportunities
• Strong understanding of JSON and debugging tools used within advertising technology
• Comfortable working with APIs, technical documentation, and engineering teams
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making

• AppLovin MAX
• ironSource
• Google AdMob
• Prebid
• Mobile SDK providers
• Publisher monetization platforms
• Header bidding technologies

Experience within mobile-first AdTech companies, SSPs, monetization platforms, or publisher technology businesses is highly desirable.
