Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior a SQL DBA to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit in New York City. This candidate will be joining the engineering team within Platform Solutions. They will be responsible for working on the client's databases to maintain, scale, create scaling opportunities, and upgrades. This individual must come from a background that works on large scale systems, as these databases are some of the largest in the world. It is also imperative that this individual comes from a strong sql server and windows background. - Excellent hands on experience working on a large MS SQL Server database and help with the design and decision making
- Experience working in an environment with 50+ TB Database size
- Has setup and understands detail on Always-on AG / Transaction Log replication
- Windows experience (windows servers)
- Ability to performance tune very complex queries
- Experience working within the financial services industry
