Established in 1866, St. Barnabas Hospital enjoys a rich history of serving a diverse patient population. The hospital is a member of the St. Barnabas Health Care Network, a community-based system serving the Bronx and surrounding neighborhoods. The hospital’s eight state-of-the-art operating suites provide care for more than 5,000 general, urological, gynecological, vascular, pediatric, and neurosurgical patients. The hospital also has state-designated centers for stroke and AIDS care.
