Barback

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and energetic Barback to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates the needs of the bartenders, and ensures the bar operations run seamlessly.

This is a part-time position requiring 3 to 4 days of availability per week , with Friday and Saturday shifts being strictly mandatory.

Shifts & Schedule

• Weekday Shifts: 4: 00 PM – 11: 30 PM

• Friday & Saturday Shifts (Mandatory): 4: 00 PM – 1: 30 AM (Next day)

Responsibilities & Duties

• Bar Setup & Breakdown: Assist in opening and closing procedures, including restocking ice, prepping garnishes, and ensuring the bar is fully operational before service and clean after closing.

• Inventory & Restocking: Keep a constant eye on inventory levels. Efficiently restock liquor bottles, beer, wine, glassware, and mixers throughout the shift.

• Glassware Management: Quickly collect, wash, and sanitize dirty glassware from the bar and floor, ensuring bartenders always have clean tools and glasses ready.

• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, floors, and guest counters. Promptly wipe down spills and clear empty glasses/plates from guests.

• Juice & Garnish Prep: Prepare fresh juices, syrups, and precise cocktail garnishes according to our bar standards.

• Heavy Lifting: Change kegs, fetch heavy cases of liquor/beer from storage, and manage trash/recycling disposal as needed.

• Team Collaboration: Maintain clear communication and support bartenders and floor staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a barback in a cocktail bar is highly preferred.

• Availability: Must be able to work 3–4 days a week, including all Friday and Saturday late-night shifts .

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (kegs, ice, liquor crates).

• Skills: Strong organizational skills, a proactive "team-first" attitude, and the ability to multitask under pressure during peak hours.

• Legal Age: Must meet the minimum age requirement to handle and serve alcohol.
