Legal Assistant

Job Purpose:
The Kelly Clarkson Show is seeking a Legal Assistant to work with all day-to-day operations as outlined below. Additionally, this will be a staff with end date position anticipated to end on July 15, 2026. This is a Run of Show position that will support the Production with a variety of administrative and functional responsibilities not limited to the following:
Essential Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation and maintenance of show files; including such tasks as checking legal documents, copying, scanning, and interfacing with production teams

Assist producing teams with legal release process
-
Assist with day-of-show administrative tasks
-
Conduct legal research and/or due diligence as needed

Assist with the drafting of various legal documents, under supervision of Show Attorney (i.e. gift releases, location agreements, trade out agreements)

Watch down final episodes prior to air for legal review
Basic Requirements:
-
1+ year of television production experience or working administrative assistant experience

Bachelor's degree
Desired Characteristics:

Detail-oriented, team player with great inter-personal skills

Ability to handle confidential information and/or documentation

Legal experience, a plus!

Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
