LOCATION(S): Adult Learning Institute
QUALIFICATIONS : Instructor will have 2 years as a licensed barber apprentice and hold a Master barber license, they will have completed 500 hours of course requirements and have completed continuing education requirements as per NYS expectations
tasks: The chosen candidate will teach the Barbershop course, a 500 hour New York State approved curriculum to prepare students for the state barber test and apprenticeship. The instructor will use a combination of hands-on, lecture, and other teaching strategies to build participant's expertise and expertiseets in regards to barbershop practices. The instructor will determine supplies/resources necessary to provide the instruction and practices the participants need to meet the course goals. Additionally, the instructor will complete necessary attendance and paperwork as required.
