Bookkeeper
Culinary Depot is seeking a full-time, in-office Assistant to the Controller to support our finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset who is eager to learn and develop their accounting and bookkeeping skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Approve and process invoices and expense reports
- Assist with sales tax filings
- Upload and track expenses and payments
- Maintain property bookkeeping and related records
- Support the Controller with ad hoc financial tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate from an accounting or bookkeeping course or at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance/accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
