Job Title: Landlord/Tenant Paralegal

Location: NYC

Hours: 9-5:30pm

Job Description:

Do you have office experience and would like to be a paralegal? Azoulay Weiss, LLP, a leading firm specializing in Landlord/Tenant law, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Paralegal to join our team in the office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow professionally while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment.

NO EXPEREINCE REQUIRED; WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN BUT YOU MUST BE PROFESSIONAL AND HAVE EXCELLENT TYPING ABILITY

Responsibilities:

• Arrive to the office by 9:00 a.m. and manage tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Manage a high volume of email intake and document preparation on a daily basis
• Assist attorneys in preparing documents needed to commence cases.
• Handle a demanding intake of Landlord/Tenant legal documents.
• Manage and file court documents in compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
• Preparing all intial gatherings of Landlord/Tenant legal documents.
• Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide general support within the office

Qualifications:

• Must have previous office experience.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Phone etiquette, writing and reading skillfulness.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn from attorneys specializing in real estate law.
