Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Permanent license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years experience in similar settings. First-time travelers accepted. Local candidates accepted. Comfortable with patient ratios of up to 1:8. COVID vaccine required. Two supervisory clinical references required. Description: This is a 437-bed teaching hospital seeking a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg/Telemetry specialty. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience and a permanent nursing license. First-time travelers and local candidates will be considered. The uniform consists of scrubs that are either all white, all navy, or a combination of both colors. The patient ratios can go up to 1:8, and candidates should be comfortable with this level of care. A daily average of patient visits is expected, with an emphasis on adult and geriatric care. The facility provides interdisciplinary support, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Candidates must have fundamental skills such as BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry.
