One of our clients is seeking a Direct Support Provider in the Manhattan area.
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
- Tues-Sat, and Sun-Thurs 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm
- Mon-Fri 8am-4pm for day program
- Compensation - $18.00/hour
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THE OPPORTUNITY
- DSPs closely monitor and support people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Monitor facility and client rooms to ensure safe and secure environment.
- Assist with distribution of meals.
- Provide personalized assistance with ADL for clients as needed.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the developmental disability field a plus
- Tuberculosis testing is mandatory
