Senior Product Manager - Consumer

Flow
New York, NY

About the Company

Flow aims to create a superior living environment that enhances the lives of our residents and communities by developing, acquiring, owning, and managing multifamily apartment buildings and the services and technology inside those buildings.

Fulfilling our mission will require an exceptional group of people whose collective output is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Our team members are energized by the opportunity to impact our residents’ lives in meaningful ways. They are bold and creatively ambitious, driven by relentlessly high standards, act with a sense of urgency and accountability, and always, above all, operate with integrity, loyalty, and trust.

About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic, execution-driven Senior Product Manager to lead core initiatives across Flow’s leasing and resident experiences—from lead capture and applicant decisioning to resident retention and engagement. You’ll work on both consumer-facing products and internal tools that empower leasing agents, revenue teams, and property operations. Your goal: increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and operational efficiency while delivering a best-in-class experience.

You’ll be responsible for replacing legacy third-party platforms with custom-built software, including leading change management and adoption efforts. This role requires close collaboration with design, engineering, data science, and business teams to drive both 0→1 development and scale existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across the leasing and resident lifecycle
  • Drive product outcomes such as increasing LTV, improving NPS, and boosting resident retention
  • Build intuitive, impactful experiences in partnership with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Lead the sunset of third-party tools and drive adoption of internally built replacements
  • Conduct product discovery using both qualitative research and data insights
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and trade-offs clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Unblock cross-functional teams and ensure they can operate with speed and clarity
  • Define, monitor, and act on KPIs to measure success and inform iteration

Ideal Background

  • Bachelors degree in a technical or comparable field
  • 8+ years of product management experience in high-growth tech environments
  • Proven success building consumer-facing products and internal tools, both web and mobile
  • Strong track record driving metrics like LTV, NPS, and retention
  • Experience leading both 0→1 product development and scaling existing products
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with designers, engineers, and business teams
  • Experience replacing third-party platforms and managing internal rollouts
  • Background in real estate, leasing, or property operations is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Strong communicator, especially in writing clear, actionable PRDs for engineering audiences
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with data analytics tools like Snowflake, Sigma, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-informed product decisions
  • Familiarity with UX research methods and building consumer-grade tools for internal users
  • Proficient in modern product tools: JIRA, Confluence, Figma

What Sets You Apart

  • Understands and embraces grit
  • You thrive in ambiguity and high-pressure environments; comfortable making informed trade-offs
  • You are a low-ego individual who is excited about working in an ever-changing space
  • You are passionate about elegant design and hypothesis-driven product development
  • You are an excellent communicator and natural leader
  • You are flexible and willing to pivot quickly based on new information or shifting priorities
  • You can shift seamlessly from strategic storytelling to tactical execution

$150,000 - $220,000 a year

Benefits

• Comprehensive benefits package (Medical / Dental / Vision / Disability / Life)

• Paid time off and 13 paid holidays

• 401(k) retirement plan

• Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

• Access to HSA-compatible plans

• Pre-tax commuter benefits

• Employee Assistance Program (EAP), free therapy through SpringHealth, acupuncture, and other wellness offerings
