Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs and hemodynamic status
- Manage ventilator support, vasoactive medications, CRRT/PRISMA or similar renal replacement therapy when applicable, and complex therapies in the ICU
- Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and document in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, respond to emergencies, and escalate issues promptly
- Monitor for neurologic, respiratory, renal, and circulatory changes; support stroke/NICU–related protocols as needed
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and device/line care (e.g., ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM equipment)

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification and all active RN licenses on file
- ICU experience: minimum 2 years; 4–5 years preferred
- REQUIRED travel ICU experience; ability to float to all ICU units as needed
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic EMR experience
- Shift: Nights (2x3), unit: ICU; 6:30p–7:00a shift times reflected in unit expectations
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
