Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Starting September 2025)
Compensation: $90-$95 per hour

About Dragonfly Cares

At Dragonfly Cares , we specialize in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in both school and in-home settings. Our mission is to create meaningful, lasting change for children with developmental disabilities.

We are currently hiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) based in Commack, NY , who are interested in school consultation, in-home services, or a combination of both. We'll work with you to tailor a caseload that fits your strengths, preferences, and schedule.

About the Role

As a BCBA with Dragonfly Cares, you'll have the opportunity to provide:

School-Based Consultation

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)

• Develop and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Train and collaborate with school staff to support student progress

• Provide ongoing behavioral consultation and coaching

• Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements

In-Home Services

• Deliver Behavior Intervention Services (BIS) and Parent Counseling & Training (PCT)

• Support families in applying ABA strategies at home

• Promote consistency and generalization across settings

Whether your passion lies in school consultation, home-based support, or both, we'll help you build a role that works for you.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field

• Certification: Active BCBA certification and LBA in New York (or in process)

• Experience: At least 1 year of BCBA experience; school-based and/or in-home ABA experience preferred

• Skills:

  • Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Supervisory experience with RBTs or paraprofessionals is a plus
