FOH Manager
Floor Manager – Friedmans (Upper West Side, NYC)
Friedmans is looking for a Floor Manager to join our team at our 72nd Street location on the Upper West Side . This is an entry-level management role designed for someone ready to take the next step in their restaurant career and grow within a respected New York hospitality group.
At Friedmans, hospitality is not just service — it’s about taking care of people, creating regulars, and building a community around the restaurant. We believe great restaurants are built by people who genuinely enjoy making others feel welcome and cared for.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy dining room, leads from the floor, and has a natural instinct for hospitality.
What You’ll Do
Lead service on the floor and ensure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of
Build relationships with guests and create regulars
Support and coach the front-of-house team throughout service
Maintain high hospitality and service standards
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
Work closely with the management and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for hospitality and taking care of people
Someone who enjoys being on the floor and engaging with guests
Strong work ethic and willingness to be hands-on
Ability to work 50–55 hours per week in a high-energy restaurant environment
A team-first mentality and positive attitude
Desire to learn, grow, and build a career in restaurants
