Senior Tax Analyst

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst. Responsibilities:

• Support period-end and close activities, including preparation, rollovers, and balance checks
• Execute recurring system processes and validate data accuracy and completeness
• Utilize data analytics and workflow tools to support reporting and operational needs
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot data models and automated workflows
• Administer and support enterprise reporting or consolidation platforms
• Build and maintain system components such as metadata, forms, dashboards, business rules, and reports
• Analyze and validate complex data sets for accuracy and consistency
• Provide system support and resolve end-user issues
• Gather business requirements and translate them into system or process solutions
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality implementations
• Assist with testing, issue tracking, and root cause analysis
• Onboard new users, data sets, or entities into systems
• Maintain system documentation, including SOPs, training materials, and design documentation
• Deliver training to users across teams and locations
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders as needed
• Support backup, recovery, and continuity efforts
• Assist with ad hoc system, data, or operational projects
• Experience with data analytics, workflow, or automation tools
• Ability to build, modify, and troubleshoot workflows or data processes
• Experience working with large, complex, or unstructured data sets
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems across multiple environments (e.g., production, test, development)
• Understanding of period-end or reporting cycle processes
• Strong systems and data mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Exposure to automation technologies or process automation tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines during peak activity periods
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience supporting users and providing training or documentation
