Salary: $22.00-$25.00 HOURLY
A top Limousine Company is looking for seasoned dispatchers to become a team member in its fast-paced and growing New York location.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience in the Luxury Limousine Industry and/or Radio Car Industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduled runs, unscheduled runs and schedule changes so that Chauffeurs arrive at their pick-up points on time.
- Locate and assign Chauffeurs, as needed, to cover unscheduled runs.
- Handle multiple phone lines in a calm, effective and professional manner.
- Arrange with other limousine companies, as needed, to cover runs which cannot be covered with the available company staff.
- Assist drivers to learn effective radio communication and help them to solve problems in completing the run, as scheduled.
- When speaking with clients and other businesses represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Document, in the system, specific problems with Chauffeurs or specific problems with clients and e-mail the appropriate supervisor.
- Document, on the pertinent form, specific problems with vehicles and forward these to the Fleet Manager.
- Learn common destinations in the geographic area served by the company and become familiar with routes and traffic patterns
Compensation
- $22.00 - $25.00 an hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum 2-years experience working as a Dispatcher
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel
- Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties
- Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
- Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances
- Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with industry software
- Knowledge of Outlook, Teams, ZipWhip, WhatsApp, Word, Excel and other applications
- Ability to monitor Chauffeurs hours; including overtime and double-time
