Industrial Maintenance Technician

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $26 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance inspection; diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, eddy currents, electro-magnetic belts, optical sorters, diverters, compressors, trash compactors, motors, glass breakers, wire tie systems, fans, pumps, forklifts, front-end loaders and building equipment
- Maintain DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- At minimum two (2) years of relevant work experienc
- Knowledge of single and three phase electrical systems
- Knowledge of electrical control systems
- Have knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Solid knowledge of pneumatic systems, including air compressors
- Safely able to operates tools and equipment needed during the repair and servicing of equipment
