Mechanical Assembler

salary: $50,000 - $52,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies for packaging machines according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Install and align sensors, valves, pumps, pneumatic cylinders, and motion components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, torque tools, drills, grinders, etc.) safely and accurately
- Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and adjustments to ensure proper operation
- Install and route pneumatic tubing and basic mechanical systems
- Verify proper component placement and ensure assemblies meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or assembly challenges
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures
