Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Location: New York, NY 10029

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 5x8-Hour Schedule | 40 Hours/Week

Shift Hours: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Saturday & Sunday)

Pay Rate: $3,124 Weekly Gross

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity medical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency, clinical judgment, and knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging principles to produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam.

• Apply strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging techniques to ensure accurate results.

• Review and evaluate images for quality and consistency before submission to radiologists.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the facility’s EMR system.

• Follow all safety protocols regarding magnetic fields, contrast media, and radiation exposure.

• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (required)

• Proficiency operating GE MRI scanners (required)

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved Radiologic Technology program

• Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology

• ARRT MRI Registry Certification (required)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)

• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging principles

• Excellent technical and communication skills
