Responsibilities

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Programmatic Product Manager to join our team. This role leads all aspects of the entire lifecycle of the agency’s programmatic products, from the initial stages of conceptualization through to successful launch and ongoing post-launch management. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Product Strategy to drive the development and improvement of the product suite. They will bring deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of emerging trends to define new features. The product manager will diligently lead the strategic plan for the product and prioritize product features and improvements. hese decisions will be based on detailed market research to meet user needs and align with business goals.

A strong emphasis on agile methodologies and agile process implementation is critical for this role. Successful applicants are encouraged to manage multiple projects, collaborators and time zones, making it key for them to have strong project management and organization skills. This role requires the ability to both work in startup-like environments and within a large matrixed organization. The candidate should be a quick learner, self-starter, pro-active and can work autonomously.

Key Accountability

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including tech, engineering, marketing and sales to ensure seamless execution. Act as the primary liaison between the technical team and internal partners, to ensure a clear grasp of product functionality, benefits and requirements.
  • Be the Programmatic SME: Act as a subject matter expert, educating and guiding technical team, enablement team and product marketing team on sophisticated programmatic concepts, product benefits and use cases, providing training and gathering feedback to continuously improve the user experience. Articulate and effectively communicate the product roadmap, present feature updates and assist with scaling and onboarding.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: By maintaining an in-depth knowledge of programmatic platforms and the competitor landscape. Keep up with industry guidelines, emerging trends, and the evolving use of AI and LLM in programmatic marketing. Leverage this knowledge to work alongside the Head of Product Strategy in defining new features and making improvements to the platform.
  • Team Coordination & Agile Delivery: Work with tech lead and engineering teams (offshore) to plan, develop and deploy products punctually and according to scope. Champion an agile environment, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and stand-ups.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and handle the product backlog, ensuring that the team always works on the most impactful tasks. Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure full understanding of the tech team on the domain requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate directly with the QA team to ensure that the deliverables meet the quality standards and that user experiences are consistent.
  • Fluid Communication: Ensure fluid and rapid communication in case of issues, scope changes, estimation inaccuracy or any other situations that could have an impact on the delivery of the team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, from an agency background.
  • Solid understanding of programmatic marketing principles, standard processes, the latest trends and product roadmaps. Proficiency using major DSPs and their proprietary tools: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills are needed to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. These tasks occur across teams in different regions and working hours. A strong bias for action and delivery is essential.
  • Outstanding project management skills to break down tasks, simplify product roadmaps, establish owners and timelines, and status reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading cross-functional teams to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Solid technical proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Detail oriented, with a proven track record of shipping product on time and within budget.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills to guide teams and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Proficiency conducting market research and analyzing findings to inform product decisions.

Will ideally have

  • Experience with custom bidding, algorithmic optimization, or data marketplaces.
  • Background in agency, media, or SaaS product development.
  • Hands-on experience with DV360, TTD, or other DSPs.
  • Excellent skills in Jira or similar agile project management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field.

Compensation Range: $88,540.00 - $141,687.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
