Production Operator

RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Operator to join our team in Skaneateles, NY with $20/hr pay for a 1 year contract (potential temp to hire opportunity) . You will be working in the Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) division, supporting the Turbomachinery & Process Solutions (TPS) product line. This role involves a combination of Assembly and Material Handling and is ideal for someone with strong manual dexterity, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.  Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime required based on business needs)

What You’ll Do

• Assemble small components and sub-assemblies using tools like screwdrivers, allen wrenches, clamps, tweezers, wire cutters, exacto-knives, cotton swabs
• Perform intricate assembly work under a microscope or with magnifying equipment
• Handle basic chemicals as required for assembly processes
• Solder or learn to solder as part of the production process
• Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards
• Maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and cleanliness in the workspace
• Assist with movement and organization of parts and materials
• Support inventory tracking and replenishment efforts as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Good manual dexterity and vision for fine assembly work
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Experience with or willingness to learn soldering techniques
• Capable of working with small tools and components
• Comfortable working with chemicals in a production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced setting
