Senior Product Designer

Who You Are You’re an experienced product designer with a passion for clarifying complexity by crafting seamless workflows and delightful product experiences. You’re confident working independently through the design process—from discovery through delivery—and adept at balancing user needs with business and technical constraints. You think beyond simple layouts, in terms of user journeys and workflows. You know when to rely on established design systems and when—and how—to extend those systems. About the Role As a Senior Product Designer, you will define and deliver design solutions to business-critical efforts, creating seamless first impressions and long-term engagement paths for our small business customers and their employees. You will partner closely with peers in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define strategic opportunities and bring coherent experiences to life. Your Success Profile What You Will Work On Design and deliver intuitive, polished user interfaces that that guide users through complex decisions and transitions, reduce friction, and build customer trust from first touch through ongoing engagement. Collaborate closely with partners in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define scope and align on user and business goals. Participate in discovery efforts and leverage insights to frame design problems and translate them into actionable solutions. Pair with cross-functional partners to test, iterate, and launch impactful experiences. Partner with peers in other design teams to extend and adapt design patterns and systems where necessary. Help guide and support less-experienced designers contributing to shared efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. Simplicity - Be like Einstein: “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.” Qualifications Prior Experience 5+ years of professional experience in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS, HR tech, benefits, insurance, or related domains. Strong collaboration experience working as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating fluidly with engineers, product managers, researchers, marketers, data scientists, and others. Experience driving initiatives from discovery through delivery across multiple product areas. Attention to detail, and a refined sense of craft in visual design, typography, and brand expression. Fluency in Figma and AI prototyping tools. Portfolio To apply please share a portfolio of case studies demonstrating at minimum: Your role in the design of two shipped product experiences; Your design process, starting with the original business problem, your definition of the design problem, your explorations of potential solutions, and the resulting solution; Your collaboration with design and cross-functional peers, including any compromises that were required to realize the solution. The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $166,000.00 to $214,000.00 per year. LI- #LI-Hybrid Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
