Role: EHS Site Safety Representative

Location: Hillview Reservoir - Bronx, NY

Shift: 2nd Shift (3-11pm)

General Responsibilities:

• The EHS Professional and EHS Rep shall have extensive experience with hazard identification, evaluation and controls, and be knowledgeable of all applicable EHS requirements set forth by governing laws, rules and regulations as well as Best Management Practices. Where gaps in the training or experience are identified, DEP may require additional experience or training for approval .

• Minimum of ten years of relevant construction experience, five years of which were exclusively in construction EHS management
• Successful completion of the following training courses:
• BEDC EHS Standards
• 30-hour OSHA construction safety and health training;
• Resource Conservation Recovery Act/DOT hazardous waste/manifesting training
• Hot work permit training
• Excavation & trenching
• Permit-required confined space attendant supervisor;
• BEDC spill prevention and control;
• Control of hazardous energy sources(lockout/tagout);
• New York State Dig Safe Training;
• OSHA Scaffold competent person training (OSHA 30 + DOB Scaffold training should suffice).
