Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Duration: 9 Weeks

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support daily dental operations and assist providers in delivering quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience with chairside assisting, dental procedures, sterilization practices, and patient support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize treatment rooms before procedures
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
• Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and basic administrative duties
• Monitor and restock dental supplies and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff

Qualifications

Required

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of chairside dental assisting and basic dental procedures
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
  
  OR
  Minimum one (1) year of hands-on Dental Assistant experience
• Valid X-ray Certification
• 1–2 years of relevant experience

Preferred

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
• Experience using dental practice management software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
