We are seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong grill skills, a passion for Mediterranean flavors, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables to restaurant standards.
- Maintain consistency, flavor, and presentation of dishes.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with prep work and kitchen organization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous grill cook or line cook experience required (Mediterranean or fine dining experience a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a busy, upscale kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Amali’s aesthetic is inspired by the Mediterranean way of life, emphasizing vegetables, olive oil, cheese, grains, and fish. Our menu reflects the historical cuisines shared by modern day Greece, Italy France and Spain with a New York edge.
Amali's menu changes often with the seasons. We are committed to working with family farms, small scale fishing boats, responsible butchers and natural winemakers. Our wine list offers approximately 400 selections and has been called "daring" by The New York Times and "one of the best Mediterranean selections in Midtown” by New York Magazine. Amali has a robust private events program and three distinctive private dining rooms - Sopra, The Fireplace Room, and the Skylight Room.
