Local CDL Mixer Driver

Summary

This position involves the operation of concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready mixed concrete. All deliveries are local to Greater Rochester and the surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Class B CDL drivers with experience starting at $29/hr

• Paid CDL driver training opportunities starting at $23/hr

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment and report any problems to your manager in a timely fashion.
• Work independently and make decisions that affect your safety and performance as well as that of our customers and co-workers.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
• Strict adherence to company safety requirements and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid State Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL)
• Must be able to read and understand maps.
• Ability to communicate effectively on the radio system and use truck tracking system
• Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner. This includes lifting of 50 lb chutes and ascending/descending ladders.
• Operational knowledge of a commercial truck and related equipment
