CTG is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer III to support enterprise infrastructure technologies for our client. This role focuses on advanced engineering, troubleshooting, and implementation of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra solutions within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: 9 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions.

  • Provide advanced engineering support for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra environments .

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues.

  • Work with technology leadership and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures.

  • Support infrastructure design reviews, system testing, and implementation activities.

  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party technology providers when necessary.

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support teams.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational security, risk, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of combined education and/or professional experience in infrastructure engineering, systems design, or enterprise technology environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory Engineering .

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) administration and engineering .

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills in enterprise environments.

  • Experience documenting technical solutions and system architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of server/client architecture, virtualization technologies, and enterprise systems integration.

  • Ability to gather and document technical and business requirements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
