Job Overview

ValPro is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting cleaning supplies and equipment, provide product knowledge, and help maintain an organized and welcoming store environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers and has an interest in commercial cleaning products.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and assist them in obtaining appropriate cleaning products and supplies
• Provide product recommendations based on customer needs (commercial, residential, janitorial, etc.)
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stocked shelves
• Organize inventory shipments
• Build relationships with repeat customers and local businesses
• Answer customer questions about product usage, safety, and effectiveness
• Assist with product displays and promotions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail or sales experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn product details and explain them to customers
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs (boxes of supplies)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals or janitorial equipment
• Experience working with commercial or business clients
• Sales-driven attitude and problem-solving ability
