Job InfoPOSITION: Chief Trouble ShooterNUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1LOCATION - NYSEG - NY - BrewsterHOURLY RATE: $68.94 - $69.94ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, does the most complicated construction and maintenance work on energized conductors, structures and equipment.Perform emergency and other work without direct supervision.Performs work as qualified in accordance with the Single Worker Bucket Crews MOA (parts (C.) 1.and 2.).May be required to:make voltage and current tests on low voltage circuitsconnect or disconnect electric and/or gas meters (if OQ Qualified for Gas) perform any incidental work necessary to serve electric and/or gas customershandle trouble callsdo high voltage switching.Performs any of the duties of a 1/C Lineman and other related or less skilled work as directed.Skills and RequirementsShould have had at least two years' experience as First-Class Lineman.Must be able to perform operations of considerable complexity and variety where standard methods of procedure are available.
