Aging Services Coordinator
(a) Possession of a Master's degree or higher in social or behavioral sciences, public health, public administration, recreation education, gerontology, nutrition, business administration, or related field and one (1) years of full time paid experience in a supervisory capacity in an organization providing services to senior citizens; OR (b) Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in social or behavioral sciences, public health, public administration, recreation education, gerontology, nutrition, business administration, or related field and two (2) years of full time paid experience in organization providing services to senior citizens one of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR (c) Possession of an Associate's degrees or higher in social or behavioral sciences, public health, public administration, recreation education, gerontology, nutrition, business administration, or related field and four (4) years of full-time paid experience in an organization providing services to senior citizens, one of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR (d) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined in (a), (b) and (c). NOTE: Degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
