Title: Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist – Christian Faith-Based Preferred
Location: New Jersey (Multi-County Opportunities)
Job Type: Contractor / Part-Time (1099)
Schedule: Flexible – Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends
Organization Overview:
We are a growing faith-based, mission-driven, and person-centered agency committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and clinically sound care to youth and families throughout New Jersey; currently serving Essex County, Camden County, Cape May & Atlantic County, Burlington County, and Ocean County, NJ. We are currently seeking licensed therapists to join our team of Intensive In-Community (IIC) providers through the Children’s System of Care (CSOC), coordinated via PerformCare. Preference will be given to therapists with a Christian faith-based background, though all qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
Position Summary:
The IIC Therapist provides in-home and/or in-community goal-directed, evidence-based therapy to youth aged 5–21 experiencing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. Services are tailored to the individual’s needs and strengths, with the goal of promoting healing, resiliency, and lasting change.
Your Role:
- Provide in-home and community-based therapy for youth referred through CSOC/PerformCare
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to youth and family needs
- Integrate Christian counseling approaches when aligned with client and family preferences
- Work closely with families, schools, and care teams to support client success
- Maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with CSOC standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed in NJ : LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD
- LSW, LAC (clinical supervision provided)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical settings
- Understanding of CSOC/PerformCare protocols (preferred but not required)
- Strong Christian foundation with the ability to incorporate faith into therapy (when appropriate)
- Comfortable traveling for in-home/in-community sessions
- Strong commitment to ethical care, professional growth, and Kingdom impact
Preferred Skills & Background:
- Specialization in Christian counseling , spiritual direction, or pastoral care
- Background in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and family-systems models
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Experience with high-risk youth, behavioral challenges, or crisis support
