Diesel Mechanic Technician

Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a  Diesel Mechanic Technician and Reefer Technician  for our  Miller Truck Leasing  division in Rochester, NY . With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. Requirements

You Will:

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles

• Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures
• Work inside and in the yard doing yard checks and repairs

You Have:

• 3 or more years experience working on a Refrigerated Units and/or have a valid 608 certification - ThermoKing experience highly preferable

• Strong diagnostic skills
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work either:
• Reefer Tech (A/B-level): Tuesday through Friday 10am-6:30pm and Saturday 8am-4:30pm
• Diesel Tech (C-level): Tuesday through Friday 12pm-8:30pm and Saturday 8am-4:30pm
