Advocacy for children with special needs is at the core of who we are. We aim at helping children reach their milestones, attain the goals that their parents wish for them, and therapeutically allow them to maximize their full potential in their natural environment.

We are seeking a driven self-starter to help manage admissions and build marketing and outreach for our centers. You will also assist with authorizations and general administrative support as needed.

This Position’s responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Act as an intermediary between therapists and families

  • Processes calls for all ongoing services in a timely matter

  • Initialize new referrals in the automated system and update ongoing services

  • Maintain effective contact with service coordinators, providers, and staff

  • Attain all providers’ required documentation within the required time frames

  • Communicate with pediatricians and medical personnel to obtain prescriptions and medical clearance

  • Follow up with therapists to request and obtain progress reports

  • Record dates of contact, progress reports, first attend dates, frequent or consecutive absences, and any other important information pertaining to the child’s Early Intervention services in the case activity log

  • Ensure Early Intervention Services are provided in accordance with NY State and Early Intervention Program rules and regulations; monitor the frequency and duration of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)

  • Perform other duties as assigned by COO/ Program Director or designee

The ideal candidate:

· Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Passion for excellent customer service

· Detailed oriented

· Time Management Skills

· Bilingual a plus

  • Self-starter

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in childhood care, social science, case management, or human services

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, social work, or related health or human services field

  • 2 years of early intervention or related field

  • Strong computer skills

  • Knowledge of Case Management database(s)

Job Type: Full-time
