DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately perform data entry of invoices into accounting system
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for review.
- Assist in the processing and verification of invoices.
- Organize, file and maintain accounts payable department files.
- Maintain AP files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- All other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager or CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, teamwork and follow up skills
- Data entry skills, general math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- Excellent computer skills to include Word, Outlook and Excel; accounting software experience
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
- The ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals at all levels within the organization
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to ensure the finance department runs smoothly; assisting in areas outside your scope of responsibility when necessary
