We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential buildings across NYC. This role combines in-office operations with regular site visits and requires strong administrative, communication, and compliance skills. Proficiency in Yardi Voyager is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and track maintenance requests via Yardi; coordinate with superintendents and porters
- Improve operational workflows and document procedures for consistency and accountability
- Conduct regular property inspections (6–8 per month) and align fieldwork with organizational goals
- Transition compliance tasks (e.g., DHCR violations) to electronic, trackable formats
- Support tenant and staff relations, including training and issue resolution
- Assist with drafting internal policies and standard operating procedures
Qualifications :
- Required: Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Office
- Preferred: Experience with pre-war buildings and DHCR compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments; ability to travel throughout NYC
- Vehicle ownership is a plus
