• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the project-specific Construction Quality Management Plan.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the project Inspection and Test Plan, including individual ITPs for each construction element or work activity.
• Develop and distribute a weekly ITP look-ahead schedule to the project team, applicable subcontractors, third-party testing agencies, consultants, and owner representatives, as required.
• Review quality requirements with subcontractors and suppliers and monitor their compliance throughout the duration of the project.
• Coordinate quality inspections, testing activities, hold points, witness points, and required approvals with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and third-party testing agencies.
• Work with the Quality Manager or Construction Quality Manager to develop and maintain Quality Audit Plans.
• Schedule and coordinate internal and external quality audits of key project processes, subcontractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
• Support the implementation of processes for identifying, documenting, tracking, and resolving non-conformances.
• Work with the Project Team to perform root-cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed within the required timelines.
• Coordinate meetings and inspections with consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding quality-related matters, including the closure of Non-Conformance Reports.
• Conduct field quality inspections and participate in critical inspections, testing, and verification activities, as required.
• Monitor construction activities to confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
• Perform quality assessments of subcontractors and suppliers, including the review of construction quality documentation, management plans, procedures, qualifications, and records.
• Review third-party inspection and test reports, material certificates, and other quality documentation collected throughout the project.
• Identify quality issues, trends, deficiencies, or incomplete documentation and bring them to the attention of the Quality Manager or Construction Quality Manager and the Project Team. Education and Experience: • Degree/Diploma in a construction related discipline or equivalent experience.
• ISO 9001 QMS Auditor
• A minimum of 5 years construction related experience with 2 years in a QA/QC Role.
• Experience with rail projects is preferred.
• General construction knowledge including blueprint reading.
• Strong computer skills (i.e. spreadsheet, project planning, AutoCAD).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Salary Range:
