Seeking a Publishing & Creative Operations Assistant (Remote / New York Preferred)
I’m looking for an organized, intelligent, and creatively minded assistant interested in helping build an independent publishing and media venture from the ground floor.
This begins as a part-time remote role assisting with the launch of my speculative fiction novel, The Last Awakening, along with related publishing, media, and creative projects currently in development. The work includes coordinating online communication, organizing publishing materials, helping manage social media presence, tracking outreach, supporting launch planning, and assisting with general creative operations.
Over time, this role could grow into a much larger opportunity within what may become a broader publishing and intellectual property company focused on storytelling, consciousness, culture, and the future of human systems.
Ideal candidates may have experience or strong interest in:
- Publishing, books, or literary media
- Social media coordination and digital communication
- Creative project management
- Speculative fiction, philosophy, psychology, AI, or cultural trends
- Organization, scheduling, and operational support
- Branding, audience building, or online community management
This is not simply a task-oriented assistant position. I’m looking for someone thoughtful, trustworthy, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and excited by the possibility of helping shape meaningful creative work at an early stage.
About me:
I founded an investment banking firm in the 1980s and later built an internet media company. I’m now focused on writing and developing projects exploring human behavior, consciousness, fear-based systems, artificial intelligence, and societal transformation.
New York area familiarity is a plus, though the role can be remote.
