Print Shop Assistant Manager

Minuteman Press of Manhasset is seeking an energetic, self motivated individual to join our team!

Job Duties:

• Customer service
• Graphic Design Knowledge
• Project management
• Order Taking
• Estimating project costs
• Submit quote options to clients
• Digital Printing
• Answering phones, emails and general customer inquiries
• Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
• Place orders into our production or with outside vendors
• Assist with bindery, cutting, folding and packaging
• Participate in production meetings and update job status
• Communicate with clients from initial customer contact, through pre-press, production, finishing, quality control and delivery.
• This position available in a full service franchise printing and marketing center. Great customer service and communications skills are a must, as well as general computer aptitude. Job functions include customer interaction, order taking, estimating, designing, digital printing and follow-up. Some graphics aptitude is necessary and the ability to learn and improve graphics skills. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a must.

Experience & Skills ( Preferred ) :

• Great customer service and communications skills
• General computer aptitude
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with clients, team members and leadership to expedite processes.
• Excellent time-management skills required, you can juggle multiple tasks and aggressive daily deadlines with minimal supervision and attention to detail while maintaining focus and inner calm
• Must be able to work independently AND as a member of a team
• Desire and ability to create successful client outcomes
• Candidate must be a well groomed self-starter, with a friendly and positive attitude, and a willingness to get the job done for our clients in a timely manner.
• Produced work in a team environment, assisting other staff members as necessary.

Full time position from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Our Minuteman Press franchise has been in business since 1981, and during that time we have printed business forms and sales and marketing materials for hundreds of businesses and non profit organizations in the New York area. We always strive to improve by keeping up with the latest technology and always adding new products and services to help our client to successfully operate their businesses and grow their sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
