Office Aide
- Processes materials by affixing labels, creates book jackets, marks stamps, applies RFID tags, and creates records for each item and adds them to the libraries lendable collection.
- Moves materials throughout the building (books, CDs, DVDs and/or papers weighing up to 60 pounds using a book truck).
- Breaks down boxes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
- Familiarity with PC applications required.
- SAP/EBP and Symphony experience systems required.
- Ability to read and transliterate a major immigrant language of Queens preferred.
- Commitment to serving all communities in the most diverse area of the country.
