Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 14 weeks (September 1, 2025 – December 6, 2025)
• Setting: Hospital-based Cath Lab & Electrophysiology Department
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Call: Scheduled call required, including one weekend (Friday–Monday) per month and 1–2 call days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Holiday Coverage: Required as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2370–$2430

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech, including diagnostics, PCI's, Impellas, balloon pumps, and peripheral diagnostic interventions
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Sciences program (Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Cardiac/Vascular Sonography, or equivalent)
• Experience in Structural Heart, Electrophysiology (EP), and Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist as needed
• Ability to work in a sterile environment and wear lead aprons for extended periods
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and push stretchers/beds as needed

Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities

• Scrub in and set up tables for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and document cardiac catheterization procedures, including ECG interpretation and hemodynamic calculations
• Assist with 12–20 cases per day in a three-lab department
• Provide supplies and support for procedures, ensuring optimal visibility and safety
• Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and emergencies using ACLS protocols
• Collaborate with a four-person healthcare team and support orientation/training of new staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to healthcare ethics and customer service standards
• Participate in special projects and relevant healthcare committees as needed
