Administrative Assistant-2025-50

• Use of various information technology applications such as email, database, spreadsheets, and word processing applications (including Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Peoplesoft):

a) Creates, maintains, and enters information into spreadsheets and databases.

b) Composes and distributes reports.

• Codes and processes Investigation Unit licensing and complaint cases.
• Hosts the Producers Bureau’s disciplinary hearings on Webex, which include acting as a technology liaison and handling exhibits during the hearings.
• Uploads applications and other records into licensing files.
• Reviews and analyzes reporting requirements from information in National Association of Insurance Commissioners reports and/or reporting from licensees.
• Responds to emails in the Producers Inbox.
• Participates in special projects.
• Completes other duties as assigned. Preferred skills/abilities: -Proficiency in various information technology applications such as email, database, spreadsheets, and word processing applications (including Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Peoplesoft) -Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Webex, Teams, Adobe Connect, etc).

Notes : *Telecommuting may be allowed at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of:
a-1. Bachelor’s Degree OR a-2. High School / High School Equivalency Diploma with two years of experience in administrative

support.

AND :

b. Two years of Microsoft Office Suite experience
c. Two years of database experience
d. Eligible to work in New York State
