Principal Product Manager

Our client, an AI-driven organization impacting the supply chain sector, is hiring a Product Lead to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will own a core product area end-to-end, from initial concept through to customer impact, while also taking responsibility for defining what gets built, why it matters and how success is measured.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap, aligning with company objectives and customer outcomes.

• Lead product discovery through customer interviews, workflow analysis and data insights.

• Produce clear, actionable product specifications and requirements.

• Set priorities and make informed trade-offs in ambiguous environments.

• Deliver iteratively, measuring impact and refining based on learnings.

• Partner with customer success to incorporate feedback and continuously improve the roadmap.

• Provide clear problem definitions, priorities, customer context and success criteria.

• Work closely with engineering on scope, timelines and iteration cycles, while they own technical architecture and implementation.

• Partner with design by sharing customer insights and business context, co-defining feature scope, experience trade-offs and success metrics.

Skillset

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management.

• At least 2 years’ experience independently owning a product area.

• Demonstrated success building 0?1 products as the lead PM.

• Strong track record of collaborating with engineering teams in low-process environments.

• Experience in B2B SaaS.

• Experience working in early-stage or pre-Series A startups.

• Familiarity with procurement, supply chain, ERP or manufacturing systems is an advantage.

• Exposure to AI/ML products or automation workflows is a bonus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
