Associate Program Director, Income Growth Program
Job Summary
The Bridge Fund of New York is a nonprofit organization that prevents homelessness and hopelessness among the working poor by providing a combination of services and modest financial assistance to our clients in imminent danger of eviction. One of the most serious problems facing our clients in underemployment.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Program Director to lead our Income Growth Program. This pivotal role involves developing, managing, and expanding initiatives that empower individuals who are under-employed to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life. The Associate Program Director will oversee program operations, foster strong relationships with community partners, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that promote sustainable income growth. Duties
- Recruiting clients for The Bridge Fund's Income Growth Program
- Conducting educational and vocational assessments
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative income growth strategies tailored to individual clients
- Developing and leading engaging workshops
- Assessing clients for The Bridge Fund's financial assistance, plus outside benefits and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, employers, and stakeholders to expand program reach and effectiveness
- Coordinate intake assessments, individualized planning, and ongoing support to meet each participant’s unique needs and goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of services provided, progress notes, and compliance records for auditing purposes
- Assisting with special projects as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of experience providing direct client services. Workforce development experience preferred
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional networks that lead to job placements or industry partnerships
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as Zoom Conferencing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Valid driver's license required
