Cocktail Server
This is a cocktail-forward, late-night bar with a strong point of view. Service here is intentional and paced. We’re looking for servers who understand how a bar-driven room works, can speak comfortably about cocktails and spirits, and know how to move through a busy floor with awareness and confidence.
The right candidates know how to read a table, adjust service based on the night, and stay composed during high-volume service. Presence, judgment, and communication matter here just as much as efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable table service in a high-volume cocktail bar
• Guide guests through the cocktail menu and spirits list naturally
• Read the room and pace service appropriately
• Communicate clearly with bartenders, runners, hosts, and management
• Maintain clean, organized tables and service stations
• Handle guest issues calmly and professionally
• Follow NYC alcohol laws and house service standards
• Support opening, closing, and sidework duties
Qualifications
• Prior experience in cocktail bars, lounges, or nightlife environments preferred
• Server candidates with bartending experience will be given strong preference
• Strong working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar service flow
• Calm, grounded demeanor under pressure
• Clear communication and team-first mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
